We took a quick trip down to Monti this weekend to see Grandma Olson and some uncles, aunts and cousins. It was a much needed retreat from the northern tundra.

Swimming at the Monti community center -- even the big kids had a slide

Warming up with Grandma

Hanging out with cousin Heather -- Lily must have said five times, "I like Heather."

Wrestling with Uncle John, Joseph and Zack

Two TVs and a computer in the house, yet here are the cousins huddled around Lily's little video player watching "Scwat" (Ice Age II).
I even snuck in a little trip to the outlet mall with Lavonne. I finally made a decision on our Christmas present from her: new dishes (Corelle, Summer Meadow, for you curious ones).
Overall, it was a great weekend.
