In the van this morning, Lily said, "Mom, I think it makes God happy when we talk about Him. Do you think if there are any people that don't know God is in our real life that I can tell them about Him?"

Is there a word for the feeling that surged through me at that moment?

Summer Fun

While Grandpa and Grandma spoiled Lily, Mike and I got a weekend away. We biked around Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet and took in a Minneapolis Pops concert at the Lake Harriet bandshell.

On the fourth we spent time with some good friends watching the Twins, enjoying a relaxing supper out, and taking in some fireworks.
We even had a chance to stop by NWC and take a stroll down memory lane. This is the park where Mike proposed to me more than 11 years ago!

I was hoping to have a second post with some video footage of the backyard fun we have been having in the hot weather, but I can't upload a video! Any suggestions from you bloggers out there? Anyway, this action photo will have to do.
